To be completely honest with our community, all high-gloss acrylic will slowly mar over time with fine surface scratches from daily wear. However, certain styles fare much better than others. Our UV-coloured layouts and hardened silver metallic backing use a slightly denser acrylic composition. If you are highly concerned about scratches, we always recommend choosing those specific finishes.
For safe daily cleaning, we advise washing your boards by hand using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid using paper towels, as their rough fibers can leave faint marks. You can also use specialized, non-abrasive plastic cleaning sprays, provided they do not contain harsh chemicals like alcohol or acetone. These chemical solvents will cause the acrylic edges to tighten, cloud, and crack.
Finally, never place your board inside a dishwasher, as the high heat cycle will warp the premium acrylic material completely.
